Share Your World–2014 Week 32

Cee is taking it easy on us this week with questions that shouldn’t tax our brains. Sometimes a poser really makes me think about something, so I welcome those, too.

Here we go!

Do you prefer ketchup or mustard?
It depends on what is going with it. I like both on a burger. As a kid, I ate a lot of ketchup sandwiches–with nothing else.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful for the time we got to spend with our family this past weekend; I look forward to this week with no appointments and getting back to the gym.

Share Your World–2014 Week 31

I feel like I’m running in circles today; everything is coming together, but in different order than planned. It’s a nice reprieve from the “usual,” actually. Who knew mixing things up could be fun?

Here are Cee’s questions and my answers for this week’s Share Your World (SYW):

If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know)

I would invite:
Corrie ten Boom, author of The Hiding Place;
Billy Graham, evangelist who has traveled to many nations in his lifetime;
Chonda Pierce, comedian

“Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
― Corrie ten Boom

What can you always be found with?
iPhone, pen and paper,
Blistex, tissues

What is the most fun thing you did in school?
Graduated.

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
This is a tough one! The only thing that comes to mind is using the rowing machine at the gym. I rarely see other people using them.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Thursday was hubby’s birthday, I’m grateful to have had him for another year; looking forward to visiting with family from out of town this weekend.

You can find more responses, and link up a SYW post.
Or, you can leave your answers in the comments, I always enjoy learning more about YOU.

Share Your World–2014 Week 29

Cee has great questions for this week’s Share Your World. Won’t you join in the fun and share your answers, too?

Have you ever been in a submarine?  If you haven’t, would you want to?
No, I have not, and it has truly never crossed my mind. I suppose if the opportunity presented itself, I might have to check it out.

Are you a listener or talker?
I would say more of a listener, but I do my share of talking.

Do you prefer crunchy peanut butter or smooth peanut butter?   Anything with your peanut butter?
CRUNCHY! If it’s on a sandwich, preferably with Welch’s Grape Jelly. But a spoonful is fine all by itself.

Have you ever been drunk?
No, I’ve seen others in that condition and I’m not the least bit interested.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
We got to spend the entire weekend with family, and Saturday at an obstacle course race in which several participated. It was a great time. Muddy, but fun. (I shared it in yesterday’s post.)

I’m looking forward to having my biweekly devotional in by tomorrow’s noon deadline. With that said, I’d better get back to it!
