Weekly Photo Challenge–Abandoned

When I saw the topic Abandoned for the Weekly Photo Challenge, I dove into the archives to find this photo. Some of you may remember it from a Wordless Wednesday post, October 2011. I’m blessed to see, two-and-a-half years later, you are still visiting. Thanks!

Weekly Photo Challenge–Masterpiece

The prompt for this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is Masterpiece.

I chose one small creation by the Master Himself.

And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.

Weekly Photo Challenge–Fresh

FRESH is the topic of  WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge.

Crape Myrtles are in full bloom, bestowing their beauty and fragrance freely. Their peeling bark caught my eye as I walked to my car after church this morning.

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, all things are made new. God made him (Jesus–who had no sin) to be sin for us, so that in Him, we could become the righteousness of God and be reconciled to Him.
Let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles.
Let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles. Father God, remove our doubts and fears, and fill us with a fresh, new faith.

Weekly Photo Challenge: The Golden Hour

The Weekly Photo Challenge is to share a photo taken during The Golden Hour, the first and last hour of sunlight of the day.

I was delighted to find this evening’s sunset painted across the sky in vivid color.
Blessed be the name of the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the LORD’s name is to be praised. Psalm 113:2-3
