Share Your World – 2016 Week 14

Share Your World

Cee reminds us: With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world and which may not always match our reality.

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?
Hands down – cleaning!

What makes you laugh the most?
The things kids say. They have a special view of things.

What was your favorite food when you were a child?
Coco Wheats, my mom said she cooked them for me for breakfast for the 12 years I went to school.

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.
Flowers are like birds to me, they are all my favorite! Rhododendron, Lantana, Aster, Black-eyed Susans, Mallow

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Thankful when hubby came home from work Saturday evening and said he wanted to run away from home, we were able to; I look forward to sharing this week the photos from our little getaway.

Weekly Photo Challenge–The Hue of You

The Hue of You is the present WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge. Participants are to share something with a color or mix of colors, revealing more about themselves. I chose the multi-colored Lantana because:

  • I like these colors
  • They represent a multi-faceted personality
  • I wonder why colorful people groups can’t mingle as easily in society

Lovely Landscaping

A geranium presently provides the only color in my garden.

I was delighted to find the following flowers and grasses thriving at our vacation destination.

I should have placed something next to this to give a better idea of how large these lantana blossoms are.
So colorful!
Coleus; one shopping area had a variety of coleus all in a row. They made for a striking display of color. I think I need to go back for a picture of those. 😉
We need to add some grasses to our garden. We saw some lovely ones.
These were found in various locations along the way, so bright and cheerful. Don't they add sunshine to the day?

Thanks for stopping to look at the lovely and luscious landscaping we found on or travels.
