Good Fences #120

Good Fences

It looks like a good fence-finding mission is in my future–running low on new shots to share. This is another from our Colonial Williamsburg visit. The colors would have made a nice post for Independence Day with the red, white, and blue. There’s so much going on in this garden, it’s a good thing they fenced it in!

I look forward to returning to a regular posting (and blog-reading) schedule soon. It’s been hit-and-miss lately with so much going on. I should take notes when the thought comes to mind to share all the randomness in my head. (Scary thought!)

Have a lovely day!

Willy Nilly Friday 5

1. It seems like forever since I’ve written a random post – and I don’t even know what this one is about, yet! Does that count as one thought?

2. We spent two days at Colonial Williamsburg last week, and walked over six miles each day – according to my Fitbit. I took very few photos, most of them were of the flower gardens and fences.

3. Last summer I bought a “succulent tile” at Lowe’s to put in an empty terra cotta container. This spring they have tiny yellow blossoms!

4. It rained 2/3 of the past weekend. I haven’t taken any bird photos for days! A beautiful Blue Jay visited this afternoon. You’ll have to take my word for it. Where was my camera when I needed it! I am totally discombobulated! I will share the High Mallow, instead.

5. I’m really excited to go for my annual mammogram tomorrow! Then I’ll be totally discom-boob-ulated. Have a happy day!

Friday’s Hunt v1.22

Friday’s Hunt

This week’s challenge is to find something for the letter ‘V,’ Week’s Favorite, and Sunshine. I’m glad we didn’t have the sunshine requirement before this, for there was little to be found!

I thought I might have to take up the violin, but then I remembered the trusty Vitex! This was taken in a previous year, as it hasn’t bloomed yet this spring.

My favorite this week was taken with my iPhone 6 Plus by my brother-in-law during our visit to Colonial Williamsburg.

I liked the sunshine on the horse’s mane in this shot. This, too, was taken in Williamsburg.

Share Your World – 2016 Week 21

Share Your World

I’m getting a late start to blogging this week with a devotional to write and family visiting from out of town.  Let’s get this party started! Here are Cee’s questions and my answers for this week. I hope you’ll share your answers, too!

What is your favorite go to beverage?  Water, coffee, tea, coke, soda (non-alcoholic)
Water, but I do like iced tea occasionally.

Can you change a car tire?
I can’t, but I know how.

Are you a listener or talker?
It depends on the other person in the conversation. If they want to talk, I listen, and vice versa.

Would you rather have no internet or no cell phone?
Oh, Cee, you’re killing me with this one! I guess I could do without my phone if I had internet.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful to have spent the last two days with family from out of town; and I look forward to visiting Colonial Williamsburg.
