Monday Mania

Monday Mania

That almost sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

As you know, we’ve had snow. Forever. It didn’t really qualify as snow, it was more like an ice rink. I could hear the birds chuckling as I skated across to fill feeders last week. It was a sold-out crowd for the show that was held over.

This morning, with childish delight, I spied more brown-green than white. The ice rink melted, and a mud-wrestling venue took its place.

The hawk swung by in time for afternoon tea, but it was on a business trip–no dilly-dallying on the fence today. No sunshine to soak up. It was cold, and blustery, and a few more flurries flew.

The hubby and I ran the week’s undone errands on the weekend, leaving all the weekend chores undone until today. I even vacuumed. It is truly the end of the world.

Our church hosted a special program Saturday evening. A group of children and young adults from Watoto Church, Uganda, presented a Children’s Choir concert, sharing the vision of the mission there. Each participant in the program has lost at least one parent to HIV/AIDS, war, or other causes. I hope you’ll take a moment to check out the highlighted links, and attend, should they be in your area. Their calendar/schedule is available on the website under The Choir>See the Choir. You can also request for them to come to your area, to share their message of hope: Rescue Raise Rebuild

It is an amazing story. The Watoto Story

May your week be blessed!
