Share Your World–February 13, 2017

Share Your World

Time for Share Your World! Here are the questions for this week:

Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Tucked in, please.

Have you stolen a street sign before?
No.

Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
I try to use them, but sometimes I forget about them; other times, I decide I didn’t really need that item.

Do you have freckles?
Not usually, but sometimes they’ll peek out in the summer.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful to have attended worship service Sunday after being out of town the last two weekends, and that I was able to get out and walk without my knee bothering me–almost 15 miles between Saturday and Sunday! I look forward to getting back into an exercise routine.

Last night, I realized there were over 1200 emails in my inbox–blog posts I haven’t read. I don’t think that’s going to happen, so I’m trying to delete some of them. (This is so hard!) But I will try to do a better job of keeping up. Thanks for being my blogging friends.

Share Your World–2016 Week 40

Share Your World

Cee has help with the questions this week–her neighborhood kids suggested some of the following. Hope you’ll play along and share your answers, too!

  1. Why did you start blogging?
It seemed like an interesting thing to do for an aspiring writer. It’s the many wonderful blogging friends I’ve made all over the world that keep me at it.
  2. A piece of clothing you still remember?
    My first pair of bellbottoms!
  3. Who are you trying to reach with your blog?
Anyone who is interested in reading about nature, birdwatching, arts and crafts, and writing in general.
  4. Is there a stuffed animal in your bedroom?
    Yes, several.
  5. The best birthday present ever?
Last year my birthday fell on the final day of a writers retreat I attended with seven others from my local writers group.
  6. What would surprise me about you?
I can’t think of anything surprising, sorry!

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful my granddaughter arrived safely in Central America; we’re looking forward with a watchful eye to see how Hurricane Matthew might affect our weather this week.

WordPress stats tell me this is my one-hundredth post. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people “WordPress” represents, who’ve made it so easy for a first-time blogger to learn the process.

Also, thanks to  the community of bloggers who have accepted me into the fold, especially those of you who already feel like old friends, though we’ve only “met” in the last four months. I treasure your friendship.

I probably wouldn’t have a blog if not for the encouragement received from the members of the KPC writers group who so warmly welcomed me. They’ve taught me a lot about writing.

No one knows what the future holds, but I look forward to sharing it with you.
