It’s been awhile since I’ve participated in Share Your World, and I’ve missed you! Here are Cee’s questions for this week, and my answers. I hope you’ll share your world, too!
If you were given the opportunity to ride in a helicopter, would you go? Yes! We did avail ourselves of this opportunity on a trip through Myrtle Beach, SC. We chose the least expensive option, just to try it out. There’s no lying about one’s weight–it is required to step onto their scale. This was our view from the air on an overcast day, which delayed our ride until it cleared to a certain point.
What are some of your favorite type of proteins to eat? (meat, seafood, eggs, soy, cheese, nuts) Nuts, cheese, Greek yogurt, eggs, legumes, and chicken are my favorite sources of protein.
What would be your preference: Awake before dawn, at dawn, or awake before noon? Looks to me like all three choices are before noon–LOL! However, my night-owl tendencies nullify the first two choices, most of the time.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. A ray of sunshine peeking through the leaves of the oak highlighted the bunny and inspired this photo.
Sorry to skip out on you last week, we traveled again to celebrate another birthday–mine!
This week we’re looking for Starts with I, Bowl, and Desire.
Starts with I: Irrigation
One of my favorite pastimes is taking the road less traveled. What better birthday gift than a backroad cruise?
Sure, this is a platter, but I wouldn’t have minded having a bowl of this! I guess I didn’t have time to focus and get the entire word ‘birthday.’ Ha! Yes, I shared the calories with the kids.
The desire was strong to check out that hammock–but it was on personal property and we heeded the ‘No Trespassing’ sign. Isn’t this inviting? (Another ‘I’ word!) It’s surrounded by the Rappahannock River.
As if I could be any more absent from the blogging world–my laptop has an appointment with the Apple doctor this evening. Not sure how long I’ll be without it; plus, I will be spending a few days with our daughter and family. Hold down the fort, I’ll be back soon!
