This week we’re looking for Starts with C, Building, and Something I wear.
Instead of a bird (for once), I’m sharing Clouds for Starts with C.
There are a lot of Buildings at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Clouds, too!
King Neptune 31st St. stage
Something I wear, unless it’s on the charger, is my Fitbit Blaze.
I looked at the cloud.
It was looking back at me.
Eyes, mouth; Do you see?
I’ve been writing a blog post in my head for two days, look for some randomness soon.
This week we search for Starts with O, Week’s Favorite, and Blossom.
Starts with O: Osprey
In my garden
Friday rolls around once again–and nearly rolled over me this week! I need to step up my game.
This week, the hunt is on for Starts with E, Week’s Favorite, and Personal.
E is for evening on Edenton Bay–beautiful in ALL SEASONS.
My favorite this week was catching the Northern Mockingbird preening his feathers.
Making it personal—
Bring your photo choices and join the fun! The link to Friday’s Hunt is live until Sunday at 7:00 P.M. Central Time.
Here are this week’s prompts:
Starts with C, Week’s Favorite, Odd Angle
Zygodactyl feet (two toes pointing forward and two back) allow Downy Woodpeckers to cling at odd angles.
Wow, the past week zoomed by at an even higher rate of speed than expected. I don’t want to miss Friday’s Hunt, so I’d better get a move on. This week we’re looking for Starts with V, Week’s Favorite, and Thankful.
Doing something different for the first prompt, the tree, brought to you by the letter “V.”
My Week’s Favorite can also be found overhead.
Thankful. So many reasons, but to narrow the field to a few, I’m thankful for this peaceful slice of sun-dappled green space on the outskirts of the city.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and survived the Black Friday shopping madness. I avoided it (shopping) this year, and spent time with family–another thing for which to be thankful–hubby’s employer instituted a new policy this year, closing the day after the holiday. We greatly appreciate it.
This week we’re hunting: Starts with N, Week’s Favorite, I Made This
If you’ve ever been to the Hampton Roads area (SE Virginia), you would appreciate this view of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT)–NO TRAFFIC
Photography composition recommends the horizon fall at 1/3 of the photo–sorry, I could NOT crop that gorgeous sky, even with the tint showing across the top of the windshield.
My Week’s Favorite is a recent colorful sunset.
For I Made This, a mixed-media journal cover work-in-progress. The birds are a stencil from StencilGirl Products.
Waiting to hear from our granddaughter who left Friday for a mission trip to Central America. She’ll be home for Christmas!
