Another warm weekend is in the books and today we celebrate President’s Day with lots of sales and a holiday for some people. I’m not out shopping, though, I’d rather be blogging–much easier on the wallet!
Here are Cee’s questions and my answers for this week:
When you cut something with scissors, do you move your jaw (as if you were about to chew)? Sorry for the delay–had to grab scissors and paper and do some research. The results are in: No, I do not.
Do you chew your pens and pencils? No. No research required on that one!
Are you a collector of anything? If so what? I collect too many things! Paper, thimbles, art supplies, Pfaltzgraff Folk Art stoneware. Our favorite son-in-law calls it “Old Folks.” He’s a great husband and daddy, so we let it slide…
Also, I like this kind of pottery and found this little treasure this weekend. It’s just shy of 4″ tall and Mountain Sorghum is stamped on it.
What size is your bed? King.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? Grateful for another pleasant weekend, and hubby didn’t have to work; looking forward to massage, writers group, and friend time.
Hello, again! Another week has flown by and it’s time for Friday’s Hunt. This week the hunt is on for Starts with G, Week’s Favorite, and Pink. I guess I’d better check my camera and see if I got any photos this week…
My Week’s Favorite (sadly, only decent photo I took this week)also includes Starts with G–the green peanut feeder.
For Pink, in our garden, we have the lovely Loropetalum, also called Fringe Flower.
I hope you’ll join in the fun and link up this week. Click the Eden Hills icon to see more posts and find all the info to participate. Hurry, deadline is Sunday evening, US Central Time.
Time for Share Your World! Here are the questions for this week:
Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out? Tucked in, please.
Have you stolen a street sign before? No.
Do you cut out coupons but then never use them? I try to use them, but sometimes I forget about them; other times, I decide I didn’t really need that item.
Do you have freckles? Not usually, but sometimes they’ll peek out in the summer.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful to have attended worship service Sunday after being out of town the last two weekends, and that I was able to get out and walk without my knee bothering me–almost 15 miles between Saturday and Sunday! I look forward to getting back into an exercise routine.
Last night, I realized there were over 1200 emails in my inbox–blog posts I haven’t read. I don’t think that’s going to happen, so I’m trying to delete some of them. (This is so hard!) But I will try to do a better job of keeping up. Thanks for being my blogging friends.
I’m hurrying to beat the deadline for Friday’s Hunt. We’ve had a beautiful weekend here, 70s, and spent a lot of it in the Great Outdoors. Now, down to blogging business!
We are looking for Starts with F, Week’s Favorite, and Heart.
F is for Flower, Camellias are in bloom.
My Week’s Favorite features a Mourning Dove on a blustery day.
Heart–I should have taken pics of some of the valentines I made! Good thing I played around in my art journal. Background stencil from Stencil Girl Products, designed by Traci Bautista. (Work in progress)
Here are Cee’s questions for this week. Are you ready?
Regarding your fridge, is it organized or a mess inside? It’s fairly organized.
Do you prefer your food separated or mixed together? I assume this refers to a protein, carb, and fruit/vegetable plate, in which I would like them to be separated.
Do you prefer reading coffee table books (picture), biographies, fiction, non-fiction, educational? I’d read any of these, though I do find biographies rather interesting.
Close your eyes. Listen to your body. What part of your body is seeking attention? What is it telling you? I’m being swallowed by the chair and my back tells me to sit up straight.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m very thankful to have only a few scratches on my car; I’m looking forward to feeling better after today’s appointment with my massage therapist.
Now it’s YOUR turn! I look forward to reading your answers.
