Wild Bird Wednesday #159–American Robin

Wild Bird Wednesday

I’ve run into a shortage of bird photos. Here’s a recent shot of an American Robin. I haven’t noticed them around the yard much, they must be busy elsewhere.

    • Thank you, Darlene. I used the zoom to ID the bird in the tippy top of the tree, and decided to snap. Wasn’t sure if it would be a usable photo, but it showed up pretty well. I love surprises!

  1. Great photo.
Usually there’s only a couple of Robins that hang around here, but this year there’s a small flock. So we figure they had a good hatching. I like them alot, they’re very good at helping control beetles, bugs, insects and creepy crawlies. 🙂

  2. During my years in Ohio robins were plentiful. I haven’t seen many since leaving the cold north, but I have spotted a few now and then in other places. Great shot of a robin. In our new lives traveling, I hope to see robins again. Blessings to you…
