My goodness, that looks like a HUGE bird! What a beauty.

allaboutbirds.org says they’re 37-40.9″ tall, wing span 51.6-57.1″ Yes, it’s a big bird, just a bit smaller than the Great Blue Heron.

The egret is handsome or beautiful for sure but I am so taken with how green every thing is! So much green all over the streets of blogville! Nice to see all the pretty green! Do think the reflections of white on the water are very pretty!
