Wild Bird Wednesday #139–Northern Mockingbird

Wild Bird Wednesday

This handsome Northern Mockingbird is once again a regular visitor to our yard. I can’t wait until he starts singing! He’s quite the serenader, singing during the day, and often, at night. If it sounds like several different birds singing in the yard, but none are to be seen, chances are a solitary mockingbird is doing the singing. They mimic many sounds, not just other birds.
