70F (21C) A good day for a swimThis is what’s left of the snow–not a pretty sight.Came home from my walk to find dinner guests. This is the Mallard’s first visit to our yard this year.
Thanks! That weather sounds familiar! 70s yesterday, 30 today, rain, snow, wind–turning to sleet, then snow. Soon, it will be weather we’d like to be out in. 🙂
Nice to see your snow melting. Maybe you will luck out like we did and not get what they forecasted. That must be the stuff that hit us coming to you! Sixties over the weekend for us… whoopee! 😎
I’m glad you missed a lot of the latest snowstorm. We had quite a bit of snow up here in Northern Virginia, more than we have had so far this winter but still not as bad as those who have had it up north.
Snow is so pretty when it’s first fallen, but the dirty sludgy stuff is pretty depressing. Love the ducks! We had some following us at the park last week.
Glad to see the snow (finally) melting. And I love my little mallards….!

I was surprised to see them, it seems early–or maybe it’s just staying cold longer.

The mallards are so pretty. Hope we do not get much snow tomorrow, ready for Spring.

You and me, too, Shirley! Hurry spring! I think the ice will be worse than the snow this time.

It was nice, but won’t last long. Thursday we may get 1-3″ snow, rain mixing with sleet beforehand. I made the most of today!

Our snow was mostly gone and then it turned cold again and it is snowing.

Don’t think the birds will have a chance at the feeding tables as long as the Mallards hog it!

That’s true! Most of the little birds visit 4:00 or so. I put extra out when I saw the Mallards looking for something later.
