Weekly Photo Challenge–Rule of Thirds

Weekly Photo Challenge

The challenge this week is to compose subject off-center, obeying the Rule of Thirds. Hop into the Time Machine with me, and we’ll go to a warmer place in time. This is necessary because–SURPRISE!–we are the recipients of MORE SNOW. Grab your sandals and let’s go!Β Last one in the car is the rotten egg. Yikes! I transported myself all the way to childhood.Β

Clicking on any photo will enlarge and bring up a slide show, which might be a necessity to see the dragonfly.

    • Thanks, Theresa! We get to see lots of birds on snow days. I counted around 50 Red-winged Blackbirds yesterday, five cardinals, more yellow-rumpled warblers. They were so busy chasing each other! I’m not sure how many. Have a great day!

  1. I always enjoy your photos. It’s unseasonably cold here today. Yesterday was cool, too, but it’s even colder today. I see the sun up in the sky, but I don’t feel those warm rays. No snow, at least. Perplexing. Blessings to you, Patti…

  3. Your time machine has arrived at the best time Patti. All gorgeous summery photos. We had snow up here too but I don’t think quite as much as you. Just an inch to go on top of the other snow from a few days ago. Have a great weekend.
