Good Fences
I hung out at the kitchen window, waiting for some cuteness to come along and grace the fence. I had a few visitors while I waited…Clicking a photo will bring up the slide show, mousing over shows captions.
Linking to Good Fences
Cute Downy Woodpecker–but no fence…
Adorable Carolina Wren, but still no fence to be found…
Sweet Red-bellied Woodpecker, no fence
A Brown Thrasher for Theresa, but no fence…
This Red-bellied female scolded me because the Blue Jays cleaned out the peanut feeder, refused to sit on the fence…
Finally! Cuteness, AND a fence.

Sweet visitors. I love your squirrel, they are different from our brown squirrels here with that silvery looking fur.

I’ve seen the Fox and Red Squirrels on other’s blogs. The Grays are the only ones I’ve seen in our area. Thanks for visiting, Ida.

We’ll I would say that there is a fence round the Wren and the Woodpecker. I love all the images in the collage.

Thanks, Margaret. I suppose that is a fence of sorts, it keeps the pigeons from cleaning out the feeder in one fell swoop.

Great pictures – lots of woodpeckers! I bet they keep you entertained. I can’t believe how long the toes are on that squirrel – he sure can grip that fence post.

They don’t mind as long as I keep the feeder full and stay on my side of the window, Janna.
