It’s almost time for the next Weekly Photo Challenge, so I’d better get this one in! The challenge is to show our interpretation of descent. We were atop the Skywheel at Myrtle Beach, the lights on the wheel are reflected by an adjacent building.

The skywheel sounds like so much fun. I haven’t been on a ferris wheel in years.

I hadn’t either, Sheryl. This one has enclosed seats and was larger than any I’ve ridden.

We rode it during the day on our way south, then again at night on our way home. My hubby liked it a lot. 😉

Wonderful experience and great to see the lights at night from high up there.

It’s right on the oceanfront, so that’s where we focused on the daytime ride. At night, it was a different story, Margaret.

Now you’re talking my ‘neck of the woods’ — although it is technically the beach. I have spent many summers at Myrtle Beach. Wow.

That is just too cool! I never would have thought of taking a picture. I would have been like a little kid and too exited in the ride!

This was our second ride, Jayne. The first one was during the day and we enjoyed the view of the Atlantic. At night, it really came to life with all the lights.

Great photo, Patti…I haven’t been to Myrtle Beach in years so I have never seen the Sky Wheel. So I see you know about the trees at Fort Fisher! That’s awesome…it really IS a small world!
