Thanks! Cindy? I saw that name on the email notification. I think that would be a great song for a funeral.

Hi, Dianna! Can’t wait to see where you’ve been off to this weekend. 🙂

You know, I have thought about feeling small. I do I guess but mostly I just feel this overwhelming sense of peace and happiness and memories of when I was younger. My Mom loved the ocean.

Can’t ask for more than peace, happiness and wonderful memories, Pix. My mom did’t get to the beach often, but she was always scouring for shells when she did. She may have liked the ocean, but she had a fear of water.

That’s one of my favorite songs and you can’t beat the ocean. Maybe it’s the Californian in me, but when I see the ocean I feel a sense of calm.

I think the sound of water and the continuous rhythm of the ocean has that effect on us, TBM.

I’ve never seen the Atlantic (‘in person’) before… looks beautiful, Patti! I did see the Pacific once, though… it’s… well, it’s fairly large.

The Atlantic isn’t quite as large as the Pacific, but you still can’t see to the other side, Robert. Before seeing the ocean “in person” as a teenager, I could never understand why other continents couldn’t be seen.

Beautiful photo, was it taken early in the morning? Swing by in hopes you’ll join the fun of Memory Monday

No, Sandy, I’m not a morning person. This was probably late afternoon/early evening. I’ll have to check out Memory Monday, thanks for the invitation.

The ocean makes me feel small, but in a good way. When I’m there, I feel very inter-connected with nature.
