Wild Bird Wednesday 34–American Robin

American Robins can be found all over North America. They are year-round dwellers in the lower forty-eight United States, though they are most often seen when spring nears and earthworms abound. Insects and fruit are also included in their diet. They can be heard singing early,  and seen tugging earthworms from the ground throughout the day. They don’t mind buzzing anyone or anything that invades their space when nesting.
