Six Word Friday–Wave

Didn’t we already have a Friday this week? It seems like I just did a six-word post. And look at that–it’s MARCH! It would seem that is exactly what 2013 has in mind–marching right along.Β

Today’s word is WAVE. Let’s see what we can do with that.

Waves
One after another they tumble ashore,
Within boundaries, unceasing, endless and relentless.
As the tide ebbs and flows
The waves still rush to shore
One after another, for all eternity.

  1. I’m with you, it does seem the year is marching by too fast.
Your poem is very visual and moving, your photo compliments it perfectly. πŸ™‚

  2. Here I am again – late, late, late. The ocean is one of my favorite places, and I think you captured the “waves” so perfectly – eternally rushing to shore. They are so beautiful to listen to, amazing to watch, and a little fearsome because of their power. That is a great picture of the waves coming to shore one behind the other, never ceasing. The foam, the salt, the spray, the undertow, the riptide – waves are one of God’s most awesome creations – there are so many.
