    • It’s funny to watch the young ones. They can see/smell the peanuts, but it takes them several laps around to figure out how to get to them. Some give up and go looking for something else to eat. Blessings to you, Maxi.

  1. Squirrels are so cute! You are very generous to feed squirrels. You are their angel. The photos alone are worth the investment. I know you do it for them and the pleasure they add to your life. And as a blogger, pleasure is added to my life as well. Blessings to you, Patti.

    • Thanks, Carol Ann. I’m glad you enjoy seeing them as much as I do. They are a healthy-looking bunch this year. Most days I see 4-5 at a time, Linn counted six one day.

    • Yes, I can keep them in peanuts when we are away. This year we added a hanging peanut feeder for the jays, woodpeckers, etc. that the squirrels can’t get to. They don’t share very well.

  2. Cute fellow! I thought of you a couple weeks ago…we went to cooler climate and saw tons of squirrels, I got a picture of one crossing a power line I have never seen one in Phoenix. I don’t know if it’s too urban or too hot- or both.

    • I’m enjoying the little stinkers this year, Debbie. I finally have a system where it isn’t, “The birds got the peanuts, now there are none for the squirrels, or vice versa.”
