Six Word Friday–Vintage

Come on over to Adrienne’s for Six Word Friday!button

Today’s word is VINTAGE. I visited dictionary.com to see exactly what that meant. When I saw “old-fashioned or obsolete,” I thought to post a photo of myself and be done with it.
Instead, this is what I came up with:

C

It’s a vintage-style collage card.

  1. Another creation of vintage stock from the collections of Patti, and a lovely representation of the meaning of the word vintage. I like your first thought of posting your own image. You represent the finest vintage of which your era could boast. Blessings to you, Patti…

  2. Beautiful card! You aren’t obsolete! Funny that you would think to use an old image of yourself. Some of the fashions and hairstyles from the past might be considered old fashioned, but they do seem to trend around every few decades – maybe with a slightly new twist. Last year, I bought a Vera Wang t-shirt that was tie-die, and I believe I have been seeing a few prints lately that remind me of the 70’s.

  3. Patti, what a lovely card. Interesting what the dictionary said about vintage. Made me realize from an artist’s standpoint I think of it so differently to where the definition rather surprised me, yet I know that to be true too. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I always so appreciate your words.
