The blonde hair in this image reminds me of my youngest granddaughter, lovingly nicknamed Baby Z. I teased my daughter that this must be the last one, she’s exhausted the alphabet. She’ll probably prove me wrong and start using Roman Numerals or Greek to name her children.
I recently got a “smart” phone…you know, smarter than me, right? And it was the smartest thing I ever did, because today I received my first video: Baby Z walking a few steps across the kitchen, from one sister to another while Mama captured it.

I don’t do Facebook but I would love to see it. I will just imagine it! That is funny about you saying your smartphone,smarter than me,right. My sig line for my phone for email says~Sent from my ”smarter than me” iphone. That looks like the Velveteen Rabbit up there! Very nice you were able to see Baby Z walking. Who would have thought it a few years ago, just floors me.

I want a smart phone….but then I think of the data plan costs and decide I’d be smarter to stick with my ‘dumb’ phone for now. It’s so cool you got to view your granddaughter’s first steps this way. Hey, that could be an ad campaign for one of the cell phone carriers 🙂
