A Word A Day-Reckon

Since I found some cute Thanksgiving images, I reckon I’ll post one a day early for those of you traveling for the holiday. The rest of you are allowed to look, too. 🙂 Read more below.

I’m thankful for all the wonderful people I’ve “met” this year through your blogs. Thank you for coming to see what I’ve been up to, for encouraging me, offering help, and making my life richer through the reading of your thoughtful, humorous, even ranting posts, and allowing me to see life through the lens of your camera. You have enlarged my world, and taken me places I never could have imagined.

If you haven’t checked my numbers lately for NaNoWriMo, take a peek at the counter at the bottom of the page. I do believe I’m going to make it! Thanks for your support, and  letting me “slide” this month with mostly pictures and prompts.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

  1. My sister is in from VA and I told her there is a road trip I would like to take to meet some of our East coast friends. One of these days…yet the schedule is so full measured by semesters. 49826…oh my, you are an inspiration!

  2. Haha, “reckon” ranks as one of my favorite words. Your post reminded me of watching westerns with my mother when I was a kid :). Clint Eastwood comes to mind.

Also, thank you for your devotion to blogging, for the quality of your posts and of course for the kindness and insight of your comments on my blog and others. You’re a treasure to all of us!

  3. Glad you’re getting there with your novel. Mine had hit a speed bump for a while, but I am getting back on track. Thank you for stopping in to visit me at On Faith and Writing, and for your friendship the last few months. You have been such a blessing and encouragment to me since I joined this world of words. Praying you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
