Six Word Friday–Move

The God who made the world
and everything in it is the
Lord of heaven and earth and
does not live in temples built
by hands. And he is not
served by human hands, as if
he needed anything, because he himself
gives all men life and breath
and everything else. From one man
he made every nation of men,
that they should inhabit the whole
earth; and he determined the times
set for them and the exact
places where they should live. God
did this so that men would
seek him and perhaps reach out
for him and find him, though
he is not far from each
one of us.
‘For in him
we live and move and have our
being.’ As some of your own
poets said, ‘We are his offspring.’

Six Word Friday–Wave

Didn’t we already have a Friday this week? It seems like I just did a six-word post. And look at that–it’s MARCH! It would seem that is exactly what 2013 has in mind–marching right along.

Today’s word is WAVE. Let’s see what we can do with that.

Waves
One after another they tumble ashore,
Within boundaries, unceasing, endless and relentless.
As the tide ebbs and flows
The waves still rush to shore
One after another, for all eternity.

Six Word Friday–Rose

February afforded a few days alone,
to sweep away remains of winter
and invite the freshness of spring
to enter. Casting computer and phone
aside, I rose to the occasion.
